Rseries Wheels Warranty Policy

10-Year Limited Structural Warranty

At Rseries Wheels, we are committed to delivering products that meet established industry standards for structural integrity, safety, and long-term reliability. All Rseries Wheels products are manufactured and inspected in accordance with defined quality control procedures and are covered under the following Limited Warranty Policy.

Wheels are load-bearing components subjected to constant road impact and driving forces. They are not indestructible products. Proper use, installation, and maintenance are essential to product safety, performance, and longevity.

This Limited Warranty applies only to products purchased directly from Rseries Wheels or through an authorised Rseries Wheels dealer.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser (“Original Purchaser”).

Products purchased second-hand, through unauthorised sellers, liquidation sales, marketplaces, or private resale are not covered under this warranty.

1. Structural Warranty Coverage

Rseries Wheels provides a 10-Year Limited Structural Warranty covering:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Material defects

  • Structural cracking or structural failure occurring under normal road use conditions

Structural warranty coverage applies only where a verified manufacturing or material defect within the wheel itself directly results in structural failure.

Rseries Wheels reserves the sole and exclusive right to inspect, assess, and determine the cause of failure and warranty eligibility for all claims.

2. Surface Finish Warranty & Exclusions

Rseries Wheels surface finishes are manufactured to defined cosmetic and durability standards. Where surface finish coverage is offered, it applies strictly to identifiable manufacturing-related finish defects only.

Surface finishes are considered wear-sensitive cosmetic layers and are affected by environmental exposure, road conditions, maintenance practices, and general usage over time.

Surface finish warranty does not cover:

  • Brake dust corrosion

  • Iron fallout contamination

  • Acidic or corrosive cleaning chemicals

  • Automatic car wash abrasion

  • Salt air or coastal environments

  • Long-term moisture exposure

  • Bird droppings, tree sap, or chemical contamination

  • Excessive brake heat exposure

  • Normal aging, oxidation, fading, or discoloration

Chrome / Polished / Machined Finish Disclaimer

Chrome, Polished, Machined, and other high-reflective finishes are inherently more sensitive to moisture, salt, brake dust, and environmental exposure. Due to the nature of these finishes, they are excluded from surface finish warranty coverage.

Owners are responsible for regular cleaning and maintenance of all wheel finishes.

Any refinishing, repainting, machining, polishing, recoating, or modification performed after purchase will immediately void all surface finish warranty coverage.

3. Structural Warranty Exclusions

The following conditions are specifically excluded from structural warranty coverage:

Impact & Road Hazard Damage

  • Pothole impact

  • Curb or gutter impact

  • Road hazard damage

  • Collision or accident damage

  • Debris strike damage

  • Racing

  • Drifting

  • Burnouts

  • Motorsport use

  • Track or circuit driving

  • Aggressive driving

Vehicle Modification & Load Conditions

  • Vehicle overloading

  • Improper towing loads

  • Commercial or heavy-duty continuous use

Installation & Service Damage

  • Improper installation

  • Incorrect torque procedures

Environmental & Off-Road Use

  • Off-road use

  • Gravel road use

  • Construction site use

  • Mining or agricultural environments

Any cracking, deformation, air leakage, or structural failure caused by impact, road hazards, accidents, improper installation, tyre fitting damage, vehicle modification, or misuse is not covered under this warranty.

4. Repair & Modification Exclusion

Any wheel that has been welded, repaired, straightened, heated, refinished, machined, re-drilled, or otherwise modified in any form will immediately void all warranty coverage.

5. Installation & Fitment Requirements

All wheels must be installed by a qualified professional installer.

Wheels must be thoroughly inspected prior to installation. Damage occurring during installation, tyre fitting, balancing, or handling is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Only approved tyre sizes and fitment specifications should be used.

Excessive tyre stretch may cause bead sealing failure, abnormal load stress, tyre separation, or structural damage and will void warranty coverage.

Clip-on wheel weights are not recommended, as they may damage the wheel finish. Stick-on wheel weights are recommended.

All wheels are designed for use with tubeless tyre systems only.

6. Warranty Claim Requirements

To submit a warranty claim, the following information is required:

  • Wheel serial number

  • Original proof of purchase

  • Clear photos and/or videos

  • Description of the issue

Where necessary, Rseries Wheels may request:

  • Additional photos or videos

  • Tyre removal inspection

  • Return of the physical wheel for inspection

Where photographic evidence alone is insufficient, Rseries Wheels reserves the right to require physical inspection prior to final claim determination.

Claim Timeframe Requirement

Customers must immediately discontinue use of any wheel suspected of having a structural issue.

Failure to report a suspected issue within a reasonable timeframe after discovery may affect warranty eligibility or assessment outcome.

7. Retail Warranty Claim Process

Retail customers who purchased through an authorised dealer must first submit warranty claims through the original place of purchase.

The original selling dealer is responsible for assisting with:

  • Purchase verification

  • Product identification

  • Installation information

  • Preliminary claim assessment

Rseries Wheels reserves the right to require all retail warranty claims to be processed through the original authorised dealer.

Claims submitted without verifiable proof of purchase, valid sales records, or authorised dealer confirmation may be denied.

8. Installation Responsibility Disclaimer

Any damage or issue resulting from tyre installation, balancing procedures, installation equipment, or workshop handling remains the responsibility of the installing service provider.

Rseries Wheels accepts no liability for damage caused during third-party installation or servicing procedures.

9. Factory Second / Clearance / As-Is Products

Factory Second, Clearance, Blemished, or As-Is products are sold with disclosed cosmetic imperfections acknowledged at the time of purchase.

These products may still qualify for limited structural warranty coverage; however:

  • Cosmetic claims are excluded

  • Surface finish warranty is excluded

  • Returns relating to disclosed imperfections will not be accepted

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rseries Wheels shall not be liable for:

  • Tyre damage

  • Vehicle damage

  • Towing expenses

  • Labour costs

  • Rental vehicle costs

  • Loss of vehicle use

  • Business interruption

  • Incidental damages

  • Consequential damages

Rseries Wheels’ liability is strictly limited to the affected wheel product only, where warranty coverage is approved.
